Photo tips for exam and job forms
- JPG is the safe format. Almost every Indian portal accepts only JPG/JPEG — HEIC, WEBP and PNG are commonly rejected.
- Match pixels and KB. Portals check both the dimensions (e.g. 200×230) and the file size (e.g. 20–50 KB). The exam resizer presets both for 80+ exams.
- Use a recent photo with a plain light background, your face clearly visible and no filters.
- Keep the original. Save the full-quality photo — many exams ask you to bring a printed copy of the same photo later.
