Error: “Passport size photo (less than 250 pixel width and height)”

Both width and height must stay below 250 px. 250×250 px is not “less than” 250, so use a passport-shape 190×240 px photo — under the limit on both sides. Many such forms also cap the file at 50 KB.

Fix it in 3 steps

  1. Upload your photo in the tool above (photo, scan or screenshot — JPG, PNG or HEIC).
  2. Adjust the crop. The tool saves exactly 190×240 px within 10–50 KB.
  3. Download and upload it to the form again. If your notification gives different numbers, change the size and KB in the tool.

Re-check the exact numbers in your notification (width × height and KB). Portals also reject PNG/HEIC files renamed to .jpg — this tool always saves a real JPG. More upload errors explained.
